Miami Deals Doped Up Dodgers Another Blow

April 28, 2016 by Shannon Michael Smith

The Dodgers appear to be sleepwalking through the Miami series as the high-flying fish dealt another loss to L.A. last night.

Kazmir needed a decent start, and he delivered, surrendering only two runs through six innings. However, drought ridden Dodger bats offered no assistance as they could only muster up two hits all evening.

For the first time this season, Los Dogs have dumped three in-a-row, and seek to avoid a four-game sweep tonight at the Ravine.

Kenta Maeda (3-0 in four starts) brings his minuscule 0.36 ERA to Dodger Stadium tonight, he’ll face road ravaged Jose Fernandez (5-10 3.81 ERA away from Florida).

Speaking of Florida, is it just us, or does Marlins Park look like a Caribbean cruise ship? The neon green walls, the scantily clad pool girls…not to mention, that tacky dolphin parade float in center field. Have you seen that eyesore? It looks straight out of Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville, Montego Bay. Do the dolphins spout tequila?

That’s all for now, kiddies. Will Maeda make mincemeat of Marlins mashers? Will Fernandez fricassee frostbitten blue crew batsmen? Will Jimmy Buffet challenge rascalsoftheravine staffers to a drinking contest? Stay tuned! Until tomorrow, mirth seekers!

Hey! We almost forgot! Tomorrow night, The San Diego Padres head into Los Angeles for a three-game series. will be holding court at our favorite pre-game spot, El Compadre! See you there!
